Liv supports a variety of research projects throughout each phase of the project life cycle, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. She grounds her pursuit of equity and access in education policy in Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s guidance that real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time. Liv’s patience, attention to detail, and cross-sector collaboration skills make her an asset to any team.
Liv spent the past seven years studying and practicing ethical governance, human rights advocacy, and public policy research. Her prior work as a paralegal at an immigration law firm honed her ability to communicate clearly with government entities and diverse populations.
As a lifelong Michigander, Liv enjoys exploring the state’s scenic destinations with her rescue dog, Theo. Hiking, camping, kayaking, or lounging around a bonfire with family and friends fill her cup. Despite being drawn to local flora and fauna, she dreams of visiting every country on the planet (and admits she has a long way to go).
