Jeff oversees business operations and conducts quantitative research with an emphasis on data management, statistical programming, and finance. He sets a calm tone for the team with his quiet intensity, approachable nature, and gentle humor, typically signing off meetings with a cheerful “go in peace”.
Jeff previously worked in venture capital, strategic consulting, buy-side asset management, and investment banking. After earning his M.B.A, he completed PhD coursework at Vanderbilt’s Peabody School of Education and Human Development.
Jeff is also serious about chasing frogs – with his son in the waters around The Triangle and in the metaphorical lessons of Brian Tracy’s Eat That Frog (the frog being the most important thing on your to-do list). He’s passionate about baseball (statistics) and mastering Mata (Stata’s serious programming language).
